Chester Lees is an accomplished artist best known for her expansive western prairie landscapes and skies. A lifetime painter, her latest works showcase her reaction to the "big skies" of the prairies. She emigrated from U.K. to Alberta in 1988. This Federation of Canadian Artist and A.S.A. juried member has exhibited in England, Germany, USA, Hong Kong and Canada. She has spent 25 years providing art residencies to over 60 schools in the Calgary area. She was a recipient of Global Television's Woman of Vision Award and now paints from her studio in Diamond Valley, Alberta.
